"In today's work environment, employers are just looking for more than just a degree. They are looking for the proven ability to work as part of a team, and the potential to lead it. If going on an expedition is a step towards achieving these skills, then the BSES Leadership Development Expedition is a giant leap. You are constantly exposed to situations which require leadership, with a leader team who want to support you through the process of leadership, rather than do it themselves. I know of no other programme in which you can learn and apply these skills in such a challenging, majestic environment." - Chris Wane, Leadership Trainee "When we first arrived it was unbelievably cold. At night my breath vapour would condense against the ceiling of my tent and instantly freeze. As soon as the slightest gust of wind hit the tent, frost would fall on my face. I think my fondest memories are of the people I lived with for three months. We literally did everything together and had to work as a team to make the expedition a success." - Yann RashidClick here >> for more info on Yann's Svalbard expedition with BSES
