31 years ago, Mountain River launched its first whitewater rafting trip down the New River . Shortly after, Mountain River introduced the whitewater world to the Upper Gauley. Throughout this time a number of generations have found that West Virginia provides a setting that can't be outdone when it comes to having fun on the river or spending quality time with family or friends.

It is with this in mind that we strive to share our whitewater rafting experience and knowledge of the river with our guests to ensure that they are provided with memories to last a lifetime, and a adventure vacation that is truly unique. COST = from $55 - 97 (full day), $194 - $244 (overnight), + $20 each for a six person raft or + $45 each for a four person raft
