Curmudgeonly folk that we are, let’s start with the down-side to skiing in Scotland: the weather can be rubbish. However, Scotland has five great little resorts: Nevis Range, Glencoe, Glenshee, The Lecht and CairnGorm Mountain. Tuition is available at all of them, along with some challenging skiing and a great nightlife.
