This placement would suit... Some one who has a love for coaching sports and making a difference through sports coaching one or a number of sports. It is a full time intense coaching placement.

Travellers now offer a Total Sports programme in Kenya. Total sports programs are established to allow sports volunteers an opportunity to coach a big variety of sports in one place enabling the community they work in to be exposed to a variety of different sports.

Our Total Sports Project is based in vibrant and beautiful Diani Beach, about 40km south of Mombasa.

Travellers has teamed up with an outreach project called Teenswatch, which enables children within the community to come and use the Centre's facilities, including the sports, library and computer facilities. Dani is the second poorest district in Mombasa and the area has a drugs problem.

Travellers Worldwide

Travellers and Teenswatch are working together through sport to help tackle these problems through involving the community in various sporting projects. This means that you can get involved in any or all of these sports projects and thus get a very broad and diversified experience while on your placement.

You don't need any qualifications to do a coaching placement in Kenya, just a love of the game.

As a coach you will be coaching your sport or a number of sports during the day at various schools near the centre, after school you will be coaching at the Teenswatch centre on the various sports fields made available to you.
